Ban on Deeghavapiya housing project extended

The Supreme Court today extended the stay order against granting permits or leasing out any land or housing unit from the Norochcholai Housing Project situated in Deeghavapiya, Ampara. The order was issued in sequel to a fundamental rights case filed by Ven. Ellawala Medhananda Thero and a group of other monks.
