CM candidates won’t be named till nominations – Tissa Attanayake

The United National Party politburo has decided not to publicize the party’s Chief Ministerial candidates for the Sabaragamuwa and North Central Provincial Council elections until nominations are handed over.
Speaking to media, Attanayake said that the decision was taken after considering death threats posed on UNP candidates by the government.
