Eastern Province Chief Minister meets President

Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan yesterday called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees.
Informed sources said that at the meeting government agreed to provide employment to 1,200 graduates in the East by next month. The government also agreed to provide more foreign funds for development work in the East, sources said.
Several senior government ministers also participated in the discussion between President Rajapaksa and the CM.
