Impartial investigation on Jeyaraj killing

Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva made this remarks to a statement made by parliamentarian Vijitha Herath in parliament yesterday. The Minister said certain web sites friendly to the LTTE has attempted to justify the killing. JVP MP Vijitha Herath on Thursday raised suspicion over the murder of Jeyaraj Fernandopulle in light of the death of one of the suspects in police custody. The government responded saying that the CID should question Mr. Herath over his allegations.
Memebr Wimal Weerawansa making a special statement requested the government to provide an opportunity for parliamentarians to conduct talks with heads of security forces on bomb explosions in Colombo and suburbs. Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva has pointed out that bomb explosions could be prevented only if all get together and prepare common plan.
