Jaffna Bishop meets Defence Secretary

Bishop Jaffna Rt. Rev Dr. Daniel Thiagarajah met with Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Ministry of Defence last evening (June10).

A cordial discussion was taken place between the Bishop and the Defence Secretary with regard to the present situation in the Jaffna and the welfare matters of civilians. The Ministry arranged the meeting responding to a written request made by the Church.
