Japan offers Y17 mil worth of flood relief to Sri Lanka

Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda on Tuesday offered about 17 million yen worth of flood relief to Sri Lanka when he met Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Japanese officials said.
The president expressed gratitude to Fukuda for the relief supplies comprising sleeping pads, water tanks and water purifiers, they said.
