Lokuge felicitated

Minister of Sports and Public Recreation Gamini Lokuge was felicitated for his 25 year of public service as a politician.
The felicitation ceremony was held in Colombo yesterday. Issuing a felicitation message for the occasion president Mahinda Rajapakse says that the minister has rendered a commendable service to the country by holding number ministerial fort polios.
Addressing the event speaker W.J.M LokuBandara said minister Lokuge contributed immeasurable service to the public disregarding personal gains. Venerable Prof. Bellanwila Wimalarathne Thera, Ministers Bandula Gunawardhane, Karu Jaysuriya and Rajitha Senarathne and several opposition parliamentarians also expressed views.
