LTTE Artillery/Mortar expert injured in Air Strikes at Muhamalai

Defence Intelligence sources reveal that an LTTE artillery and mortar weapon expert called Iniyawan had been seriously injured during the air strikes taken at three LTTE artillery launching pads in Muhamalai last afternoon.

According the sources, the LTTE had suffered serious damages in the air raid that had been taken at the terror artillery launching positions located 3 km of army forward defence at Muhamalai.

Radio monitoring units too confirmed the information saying that there were many calls by LTTE cadres on radios asking for vehicles to evacuate casualties following the air raids.
