NLF leaders met the President

President Mahindha Rajapaksha agreed to summon other political parties and discuss the NLF proposals on safe guard of the country and the people.
Senior leaders of the party met the President at the Temple Trees in this morning.
A senior spokesman of the NLF said Wimal Weerawansa , Nandana Gunathilaka and Piyasiri Wijenayake, leaders of the National Freedom Front, briefed their proposals to the President .
President Rajapaksha warmly welcomed the NLF leaders and said he would consider their proposals.
According to the party sources, the NLF recently unveiled their party proposals to safe guard the country and the people.
The NLF sources said it plans to set up a consultative committee to strengthen safe guard of the public and the country with the help of the President.
This meeting was the first meeting of the NLF leaders who met the President after forming their party.
