SAARC summit to cost BILLIONS

The projected bill for the forthcoming SAARC summit to be held in Sri Lanka is Rs 2,880,180,332. (Approx' 3 billion rupees.) This is a bill running into the Ministry allocation range - - and is about three quarter of the country's annual education budget for instance. Transport is a major component of the cost of the summit, with several new cars purchased. A million rupee question is also -- who will these cars go to after the summit?
