SL workers leaving for overseas employment must open NFRC accounts says SLFEB
posted by Editor at 2:18 AMThe Sri Lanka foreign employment bureau says it is essential for Sri Lankan workers leaving for foreign employment to open non residential foreign currency account .
Chairman of the bureau Kingsly Ranawaka says prospective migrant workers should furnish details on their financial accounts to the bureau officials engaged in registering workers of the foreign employment.
The chairman adds the overseas employers will be urged to credit the salaries of their workers to these accounts. He further says many Sri Lankan workers in the United Arab Emirates are being provided salaries through such accounts.
