Sri Lanka restricts export of rice
posted by Editor at 5:06 AMSri Lanka introduced a minimum export price of 100,000 rupees per metric tonne of rice, as a measure to restrict export of rice from Sri Lanka. Currently Sri Lanka was exporting about 200 MT tonnes of rice a month for the use of Sri Lankan expatriate community.
