UNP-SLMC to move courts against EPC polls outcome

United National Party and the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress will go to courts tomorrow (03) requesting that the recently held Eastern Provincial Council polls be declared null and void.

Legal panels of both parties had studied the conduct and results of the election and the parties had agreed to seek judicial redress over the election loss, General Secretary of the UNP Tissa Attanayake said yesterday.
