Indian security contingent arrives

A special Indian security contingent has arrived for the security of the Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh during his visit to Colombo for the 15th SAARC summit, sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs say.

In addition to the 70-member squad from the Indian Special Protection Group, three destroyers and three special helicopters are also in the island, sources add.
