Iran & Japan as observers at SAARC

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki has confirmed his participation at the SAARC summit as an observer, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs say.

Iran is the newest observer state at the 15th SAARC summit.

Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Masahiko Komura, will also be arriving to observe the regional meeting.
