Kalpitiya triplets: One girl dies

The eldest of the new born Kalpitiya triplets, Aruni Croosz had died due to wrong mode of feeding and negligence, according to Kalpitiya DMO.

The cause of death was identified as asphyrisatram. The inquest into the child’s death was held before the coroner M.P. Careem.

At the inquest the child’s parents Anandawasi’ Croosz Devathasan and Pramila Lambert also gave evidence.

The coroner held the death was due to ignorance and negligence of the mother and due to natural causes.
