TROOPS ENGAGED in a search and clear operation in the general area of POKURANI in TRINCOMALEE on Friday (4) around 5.00 p.m. recovered one hand grenade, three T-56 magazines, ninety T-56 ammunition, two detonators and six feet of det code.

The Same day troops engaged in a similar operation in the general area of MANALACHENAI PERIYAWERI in TRINCOMALEE recovered 1.5 kg TNT explosives, two detonators and two feet det code wire.
