Military ops. to go on during SAARC summit - Army chief

Speaking to the media, the Army commander said that the troops in the Northern battlefront would not be brought to Colombo for the security of the summit meeting.
Troops in the south would provide maximum security for the summit, he added.
An Indian security contingent would provide security for the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, he said, adding that the Sri Lanka Army would be in charge of security on land.
