NFF expand its membership drive

Over one million members will be recruited by the National Freedom Front led by Wimal Weerwansa .MP speaking at a press briefing held this morning in Colombo he said his party was recognized by the Election Commissioner this morning but there is no plan to contest the forthcoming Provincial Council Election .
He said membership drive will launch soon and the NFF will request the Speaker of the parliament to give equal state for the NFF as other political parties, which operate in parliament.
If the speaker recognized the NFF Mr.Wimal Weerawansa will be recognized as a party leader.
At present Mr.Weerawansa is in back benches and he may become front row member if the speaker accepts the NFF as a political party in parliament.
