A British tourist drowns in Southern Sri Lanka

A British tourist who was in Sri Lanka for a short vacation found dead in the Habaraduwa Sea area in Southern Sri Lanka.

Police spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said this British man’s body, identified as Richard Steven was found by the people of the Mihiripana area in Galle this afternoon.

According to the sources the tourist has drowned in the sea while he was bathing in the area with his wife yesterday.
