Massive Protests Call against Sri Lanka in Malaysia

According to the Secretary of the Jalan, Baru Branch, Mr. Sathees, Massive protest against Sri Lanka and its genocides against Tamils has been called by the Malaysian Democratic Action Party (DAP), Jalan, Baru branch on October 17, 2008, Friday, 8:00 p.m in front of Jalan, Muniswaran Temple in Malaysia. This protests will be attended by the Elected members of the DAP from both provincial legislative and Parliament.
Malaysian Tamils also express their concerns on the serious plights of over 230,000 Internally Displaced People including 40,000 children who are living in degraded conditions with minimum access to food, medicines, and other basic essentials as UN aid agencies and INGOs were forced out from Vanni by the Sri Lankan government, concerned Jalan Tamil resident told TNS.
