PBJ told to provide affidavit on public office furore

Former Treasury Secretary Dr.P.B. Jayasundera was ordered by the Supreme Court on Wednesday to furnish an affidavit proving that he doesn’t hold public office and any 'share' in a company where the government has a substantial interest, court officials said

This came when the once-powerful official appeared in court to explain whether or not he is still a public officer as defined in the Constitution.
