21 Schools in Colombo closed from June 1 - 3 |

In view of the National Victory Commemoration to be held in Galle Face Green on Wednesday 21 government schools within Colombo will be closed from June 1 to 3, the Secretary to the Ministry of Education Nimal Bandara said.
The schools to be closed are; Thurstan, Mahanama, Royal, Lumbini, Isipathana, Yashodara Balika, Dudley Senanayake Vidyalaya, Colombo South, Mahamathya Vidyalaya, Polhengoda, Baron Jayatillake Vidyalaya, Maligawatte, Asoka Vidyalaya, Maradana, Holy Rosary Sinhala Vidyalaya, Slave Island, Holy Rosary Tamil Vidyalaya, Slave Island, T.B. Jayah College, Slave Island, Al Iqbal Collage, Slave Island, Susamayavardhana Vidyalaya, Borella, Bandaranayake Vidyalaya, Borella, Al Ilam College, Keselwatte, Sri Subuthi Vidyalaya, Battaramulla, Rahula Vidyalaya, Malabe and Model Boy’s College, Malabe.
