Sri Lanka Intelligence unit has arrested a Sinhala doctor, of having contacts with Tamil Eelam liberation tigers at the Katunayake International Airport.

It was stated the arrested Sinhala Doctor, is an high officer at an International Non-governmental organization and had been functioning at Gampaha and Northern area hospitals. While he had intended proceeding to Dubai, he was apprehended at the Katunayake hospital. 

Intelligence unit state, while he was arrested many CDs were found in his possession and when was questioned, he did not properly reply to the questions raised by them. 

The arrested Sinhala doctor is detained by the Terrorist detention division and is under interrogation.
